Self publishing

Getting your book published is an increasingly difficult and competitive business. Unfortunately there are many books, written by enthusiastic and knowledgeable people all over the world, which will never see the light of day as it is often not commercially viable for a publisher to take them on.

Traditionally, some of these books got published using the self publishing or “Vanity Publishing” method. Frequently, authors are charged large sums of money to see their precious book in print.

Here at Travelleur, we do things slightly differently.

We realize that all books, like their authors, are unique and deserve treating as such. Our aim is to assist you to get your book published, using our expertise and experience to deal with things like the size and format or the book, typesetting, ISBN registration and jacket creation. We then liaise with our specialist on-demand printers to get your book printed and bound. For this we charge a small fee, sometimes up to 80% less than some of the less-scrupulous Vanity Publishing houses.

Should you want further assistance, for example in getting the manuscript edited and proof-read , then this is also available at an extra charge.

The important thing to remember is; all the profit from the book, together with the copyright, is yours!
